It's commendable to know that Sadiqa Salahuddin is contributing to her time and marketing skills to help local women by selling their handmade goods at the fort. What one finds puzzling is why Zardari's sister who's married into the Talpur family hasn't made similar efforts to help Sindhi women as Sadiqa is doing.

After all Faryal is a Sindh Assembly member and had many resources at her disposal, especially while her brother was in power. Yet she's neglected her constituency more then someone in her position should. It appears as if wealth accumulation and political campaigning keeps Faryal too busy to be assisting the poor women of Sindh with educational and socio-economic programs.

It is our misfortune that these wonderful places are not being preserved. I am from Sind but have been away from Sind for the last 50 years living in U. A and Europe. I lived in Amritsar in early 80's and I recall, even in those days the newsprint quality of Dawn was way ahead of most Indian newspapers of those times.

There are hundreds if not thousands of people waiting to visit that part of the world and explore the natural beauty of rural Pakistan. This place looks awesome. I would love to visit and explore the area if I get the chance.

An organisation which would maintain the up keep of places of 'Historical Importance', promote as Tourist attraction, offer tour guides and offer quality accommodation!

Pottery found from this site have design with horizontal and wavy lines, or loops and simple triangular patterns. The use of inscribed seals and the standardization of weights may have occurred during the Kot Diji period. Massive burning : There are obvious signs of massive burning of over the entire site, including both the lower habitation area and the high mound the fortified town , which were also observed at other Early Harappan sites: Period III at Gumla, Period II at Amri, Period ID at Naushero.
