It looks like Jersey Shore: Family Vacation will be around for a long time. Mike, along with his wife Lauren Sorrentino, revealed on their podcast, Here's The Stitch , that the show has been renewed for four more seasons.
As long as each season does well with ratings, the cast will film for seasons in the upcoming years. Mike explained that although the show has been renewed for four seasons, it must do well in season 5 to have a season 6 and beyond. The cast has been filming for season 5 on and off for the last two to three months. As for the most recent season of the show, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation was number 1 in their Thursday night time slot. Mike also confirmed that the birth of his and Lauren's son Roman Reign , as well as the birth of Deena Cortese's youngest son Cameron, will be seen on the new season as well as other life milestones for the cast.
Both Mike and Lauren are excited to continue filming for the show. Fans always question how long the show will be around. Mike explained that the cast will keep filming for as long as they are allowed. He even joked that they are 20 years younger than the casts of The Real Housewives , implying they still have plenty of years left of filming in them.
